Back to the 90's

I have seen the signs for a very long time but still, I'm surprised that the "90's fever" got me too. Lately, I have found myself wearing more and more clothes ad accessories that I would have loved when I was 5 years old.  I mean, yesterday I bought a rubber duck ring. A RUBBER DUCK RING. 

What's going on??

But yeah, I'm definitely going to post some of my 90's inspired outfits in here soon! But in the meanwhile here's some inspiration for you guys: It's time to throw on your overalls, twist your hair into multiple buns, and add a purple touch to your lips. And oh, don't forget your jelly shoes! ;)

Who Am I?

It's been forever and a day since I told some actual facts about "me, myself and I" in here so I thought that this could be a perfect time for a little "BASIC QUESTIONS TAG" post. If you like you can pick out your favorite questions and answer to them in the comment section, I would love to know more about you too!

Okay, let's bring on some questions! Ready? Steady? GO!

Who are you?
Haha pretty hard one for the start, don't you think! But I guess this is just about my name and stuff, because if I'll tell every dark secret right away, there's no point continuing, right...? ;) So, here you go: I'm Senna Vodzogbe, an acting student from Finland, currently based in Helsinki. 

How old will you be turning on your next birthday?
I had to think for awhile for this one since I'm not really counting, I mean who is? My mental age is probably 12 but I'm really 21 years young at this very moment. So yeah the answer is 22 then... on the 8th of December!

How tall are you?
Still too short to get the glasses from the top shelf. 161 and a half centimetres which seems to be 5' 3.58' in that weird scale.

What is your favourite song at the moment? 
I'm not really a "favorite song/band/music" kind of girl, I just listen to what happens to be on some random playlists that I have found from Spotify, Youtube, Shazam and so on. But if I have to choose just one, I would say Numbers by Daughter. They have just released a new album, check it out here!

Favourite Hobby?
I recently started to play Ukulele and I'm loving it!! My other hobbies aside from blogging and acting are dancing (street, contemporary), capoeira, writing and fashion sketching.

What is your favourite drink?
Green tea, rooibos, anything you have to brew with hot water. I'm a total tea addict at the moment. Actually, I think I need to put the kettle on right now...!

What is your favourite food?
Every single seafood that one can think of. Okay, maybe not octopus... But for example I really really love prawns! Mmmmm....

What is the last thing you bought? 
Funny that you asked... I just bought a new cardigan today even though my little closet is screaming me to stop shopping before it explodes... I'll probably gonna write a haul post soon, so you will see it then!

Favourite book of all time?
Like I have told you before (okay, it was like two years ago, so if you don't remember, I won't go psycho about it), Jack Kerouac is definitely my inspiration God, therefore I'm insanely in love with On the Road. Other books worth to mention: The Catcher in the Rye and The Great Gatsby.

Favourite colour?
I like almost every colour so there is just a couple that I can't stand: yellow, orange, lime... Although, I do have an orange shirt that looks stunning on me.. but that is the exception that proves the rule.. or something.

Favourite Perfume? 
I love Victoria's Secret's body mists because I don't like to wear anything too heavy. I mostly use Passion Struck or Forever Pink.

Do you speak any other language?
My first language is Finnish. I have also studied French, Swedish, German and Spanish, but the latter is probably only one of them that I still understand in some level.

What is your favourite shop?
Well, if I say H&M I think no one will be surprised... Their designers just gets me!! But I have tried to expand my shopping territory into some new shops too so that you guys won't get bored in the other side of the screen ;)

Favourite restaurant?
Any Asian restaurant goes for me, especially Nepalese ones! .....I do love KFC too....

Favourite Movie?
I'm such a fool for movies that there is an endless list for this question but I'm going to say Her because I keep going back to it again and again. You have to see if you haven't already!

Favourite TV show?
Well yeah, the same thing goes with this one but I'll try to make it short: Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother and Emmerdale. Yes, you did read right. NOT SHAMED OF IT ! #emmerdaleforlife

Favourite quote?

LUX Helsinki 2016

Every year the city of Helsinki organizes a "light festival" to literally light up the dark winter days after the Christmas holidays. This year the festival route was definitely full of breathtaking installations: there were a city made of drug packages, speaking light-diamonds, an interactive cloud made of 6,000 light bulbs, light gratifies, and even a "video game building" that they made collapse by using visual effects. I attended the festival for the first time this year and I found it so intriguing that I walked TWICE through the ice and snow to see these masterpieces. Here are some highlights from the route.
